  • Really awesome light house. Well worth the 11 mile walk. On 05OCT19 there was a heroin needle around the 4 mile marker so BE AWARE! We moved a heavy log on top of it so no one would step on it. I would've loved to remove it, but had no way to remove it with out touching it and we could not find a ranger.
  • Beautiful, serene hike out to the lighthouse. If you come during 9-5 business hours there are tours of the lighthouse available and the volunteers are very friendly and informative. The tip of the spit is closed as a wildlife refuge so make sure to obey the posted signs if you come visit.
