Conceived and built as one of the centerpieces of the 1962 World's Fair, Pacific Science Center stands as one of Seattle's primary attractions. Though its physical appearance, replete with distinctive arches, is a mainstay of the city's central area, the museum's displays draw many visitors every year. You can see everything from animatronic dinosaurs and gigantic insects to ocean ecosystems and a colony of naked mole rats. Visit the planetarium, interact with butterflies in the butterfly house, or catch a special documentary or presentation on one of the center's IMAX movie screens. Kids can learn a great deal about the natural world through many hands-on experiments and labs. Pacific Science Center reviews

It is expecially nice to take your children or grandchildren to the Science Center. They have so much to see and do and many of the exhibits are interactive. Adults can also learn a lot by visiting. more »
Loved this place since I was a kid. The planetarium is super fun, but make sure to reserve your spot when buying tickets ahead of time or if you're lucky when you buy tickets at the location. When I went yesterday the feature was on global warming titled"Pole to Pole" And was very informative and fun. I wish it had more stars but was still a treat to see. All the exhibits were fun and interactive. Some classics that I wished were still there were not, but the updates since I had last been years ago were great. And I was very thrilled to see the naked mole rat exhibit was still alive and thriving. The butterfly museum was definitely the highlight of the visit and I made two trips to that exhibit. Make sure to donate to keep that exhibit going! Definitely fun for the whole family young and old. Lots of great photo opportunities, and lots to learn for sure. I love how the science Center is constantly expanding and growing and changing so there's something new for everybody at every visit!
My 4year old loved it. Even Grandpa and Grammy had a great time getting amused with science exhibits along with my 4year old. My family super liked the butterfly exhibit. The planetarium and the dinosaur exhibit was also very well done. There was a science show wherein they were showing multiple effects of light and sound among other things. All on all, it was a great experience and we hope to be a member soon.
