Howarth Park reviews
Spending time in Howarth Park is a great way to while away an afternoon. I like to feed the ducks at the pond while having my lunch. There is the paddleboarding which is nice during the summer... more »
This is a good place to introduce kids to our parks. A small lake with boat rentals and fishing opportunities, great picnic areas, tennis courts, and a path that takes you further into Spring Lake... more »
Have spent the last two Saturdays, playing Scrabble in the park. There is a nice quiet area, we have found with tables in the shade. Such a diverse place. Paddle boats, fishing, parties, geese, bike trails, walking trails, so much to do at this park. That is, if you're motivated enough to get off the park tables. LOL
Howarth Park has an amazing playground and park with a Train, Carousel, and Pony Rides. There is also a lake that has a hiking trail around it as well as paddle boats and canoes for rentals. It's a great place to picnic because of the numerous picnic tables/BBQs under the shade of the trees. If you like tennis, there are tennis and pickle ball courts. Across the street is a Mary's Pizza Shack and a Yogurt time if you skip the picnic and want to treat yourself after playing at the park. The park is clean & safe.
