Secluded and free from crowds, Marshall’s Beach offers up-close views of the Golden Gate Bridge, especially stunning at sunset. The narrow stretch of sand that lies against the backdrop of eroded cliffs can be reached via a steep flight of stairs. Sightseers and photography enthusiasts keep to the southern end of the beach, since its north section--sheltered by tall rocks--is mostly frequented by nudists. Vous pouvez aussi regarder le coucher de soleil sur Baker beach mais vous n’aurez pas une vue sur le Golden Gate Bridge. La Marshall beach était l’endroit idéal pour regarder le sunset et voir le pont... more »
You can also watch the sunset over Baker Beach but you won't have a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The Marshall beach was the perfect place to watch the sunset and see the bridge at the same time. As we had previously visited the golden gate park, we took the 29 bus (and disembarked at the last stop on Lincoln Blvd). Then walk a little to the Trailhead Battery to Bluffs trail sign. This small trail offers really beautiful views of the sea and the coast, also on the bridge. You will pass the Battery Crosby and a little further down to the Marshall beach. It's less touristy than Baker beach so you'll have more tranquility. This little walk is my highlight of San Francisco. You can also get there by taking bus 28.View original -
First of all, the scenery is very beautiful, you can fully enjoy the view of the Golden Gate Bridge, morning and evening sunrise and sunset have perfect light. Then walking can be a little difficult, under a not-so-steep cliff, slightly secret. Please comment area respect others, don't on a naked beach on the naked crowd crooked what drunk or so, go to the previous to check the information to do homework ok?View original

A great place to sun your toes. But ALL of your toes (if you’re into that sort of thing). Many people here do sun ALL of their toes, if you know what I mean. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the big red metal thing here-just beware of the exposed toes.

Beautiful, but crowded. The place is incredible: beautiful beach with a view of Golden Gate Bridge 🌁 It’s as good as it sounds. Photographers are in love with this place as the scene is awesome, especially on pics. You have to know that to get there you have to hike a little bit. You’re hiking gown to the beach, then going uphill on the way back, that it more challenging. I’m sure every step is worth it. And yeah, the only downside is that there is a lot of people there. Ok, maybe the second one: as always in SF, it can be very windy – definitely bring a coat and a scarf :)
