Sugar House Park reviews
Walked around the lake, talked to the geese, found a shady spot and read a book. It is beautiful, safe, and clean. Lots of people walking their dogs. Kids playing. Picnics and family gatherings... more »

Sugar House Park is a beautifully maintained park with several pavilions for group gatherings, basketball courts, and spacious pavement and paths for walkers, runners, cyclists, and motorists to safely get past each other. There are a few benches scattered around the park to enjoy some views and plenty of open, grassy areas for sports activities or a nice picnic. It's an amazingly quiet and peaceful location in the middle of a big city. It was designed particularly well to abate the noise from I-80 which runs along the south side of the park, and a couple of the pavilion areas have restroom facilities available.
Of all the years I have known and loved this park, it was today's visit that finally solidified the need to perform my civic duty and review the damn place. After all we've been through? Please forgive me Sugar House.Sugar House Park often gets compared to Liberty Park. This makes sense as they are both two of the larger parks in the city, they're only 2 miles away
