  • We had never done an escape room before. We had two adults and two kids (10 and 13.) we did the sort of Zorro room. Grandpa Gus (Jayden) was our guide. He was so patient and helpful! We loved it! I...  more »
  • The price is cheaper than other virtual escape room. We played Nancy Drew escape room and the puzzles are very interesting and challenging.  more »

  • We had a party of 7 in the Sherlock Holmes room and were so close to finishing (like 3 puzzles away) but had a blast doing it. The variety of puzzles in the room was really great and we really enjoyed working together to solve them! Our guide Tennessee was great, and made the experience all the more fun! I would highly recommend this room if you like a challenge! Although, they say that only around 19% finish this one in time, so be forewarned!
  • Mystery Escape Room builds fantastic rooms...where the intricacies of the puzzles cause them to be nonfunctional. When a game master has to urge you to "make sure you're putting enough pressure on the button and also make sure you're doing it at the correct angle and pushing on the correct part of the button", then you need to improve the puzzle. Failing a room because of skill is no big deal. Failing a room because of functional issues is unacceptable. These guys make beautiful rooms, but 4/4 have not functioned properly. I'm tired of being told "if this had worked properly, this is what would have opened." I'm tired of wasting money here. If you would like to try a terrific escape room, I recommend the Escape Key, Escapes in Time, or Alcatraz. I've never had an issue at any of their rooms that the staff didn't make right. But at Mystery Escape Rooms, we have consistently frustrated and disappointed by the mechanical issues that disrupt gameplay and the flippant staff who brush the concerns off.
