The Marketplace Mall Reviews
We heard of this outlet mall on the outskirts of Rochester, so we took a detour on our way home. As other reviews state, this mall is dying with a poor selection of shopes. I would skip it and keep go... more »
Yet another casualty of online commerce. Much like the Irondequoit Mall before it, we are seeing this shopping center dwindle and become less occupied. The mall will need to evolve somehow to survive. more »
This mall, it seems to me, is dying. There definitely aren't as many stores here as there used to be. You can't find an icing here, neither can you find a forever 21. Everything else about the mall is fine; it seems clean enough, and the setup is nice. There just isn't much to visit.
Like many other malls in the country, Marketplace is trying to reinvent itself. Two anchor stores are currently empty and quite a few other storefronts were empty inside. Still, the mall has a lot to offer and was in great condition. Outside the grounds crew were working on keeping the parking lot clean.
