Home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Heinz Field opened in 2001 and offers views of football, the city's many bridges, the downtown district, and the riverfront. Taking its name from the locally based H.J. Heinz Company, the field features a giant scoreboard flanked with 11 m (35 ft) of neon Heinz ketchup bottles, which virtually pour onto the screen. The stadium itself is made with over 10.9 million kg (12,000 tons) of steel, as a nod to the city's steel production heritage. When you enter through Gate B, you'll find The Great Hall, which celebrates the city's rich history of football, including memorabilia and historical artifacts. Make sure you check out the great selection of award-winning food vendors. Heinz Field is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Pittsburgh Edition.

Heinz Field Reviews
Always a great time at Heinz Field...if you’re a Steelers fan in particular. Hall of Fame well set out. more »
First time going to a game here and had no issues getting an uber to and from but did arrive early and stay late to avoid traffic issues. Plenty to see and do before the game with vendors and shopping... more »
Fantastic NFL venue for the whole family. The visiting side has better views of the video boards. The lines move quickly. The people are some of the friendliest and most welcoming to visiting fans. An overall enjoyable experience. Go Steelers!
Road fan review. Crowd was surprisingly hospitable. Met multiple very cool Steelers fans. The staff was extremely nice. Only complaint I could dream up is that the beer selection leaves a lot to be desired.
