  • Just getting from the car to the water was a good walk on pitted sand dunes with insane wind-- was it bad? not at all! Beautiful beach - uncrowded - and the water wasn't nearly as cold as I thought....  more »
  • A lovely place to visit. We had a picnic in the car at sunset. There were people walking along the shore, romping with their dogs, and generally enjoying nature at the end of the day.  more »

  • Beautiful beach with unique character. Not a lot of people. Clean water and majestic waves. Do not expect to find any agates though... There are no rocks on this beach at all. Many years ago the beach was covered in beautiful little rocks and agates. None remain.
  • Agate beach is a fine example of how humans affect the natural environment. These amazing dunes have a high water line filled with micro plastics. I encourage you to visit and collect some of the pieces. Get creative. Imagine it as you would beach glass. Then..maybe use less plastic.
