A winter in New York City wouldn't be complete without ice-skating at The Rink at Rockefeller Center, especially beautiful in the evenings around New Year's Eve when the big Christmas tree lights up. Even if you don't skate, this NYC landmark will make a lovely background for your Christmas photos. Reserve the tickets for the skating upfront to avoid long wait lines. You can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate in between skating sessions or while waiting for your turn. The Rink at Rockefeller Center Reviews
Fuimos con mi esposa. Ninguno de los dos habíamos jamás patinado en el hielo. Nos pusimos esas botas sumamente rígidas con los patines y salimos a la pista. Lo primero fue caernos, sin mayores problem... more »We went with my wife. Neither of us had ever skated on the ice. We put on those extremely stiff boots with the skates and went out on the runway. The first thing was to fall, without major problems. Then, a few minutes taken off the rail and go out and look from outside.
It wasn’t our plan to ice skate here as it was never one of our “must do’s” but we had been to the top of the rock and the atmosphere when passing the rink was amazing (even at 11pm!). We had no hesit... more »

I went in March it was $25 for the session and like $12 for the skates. I went at the 2:30-4:00 space. It wasn't too crowded on the rink it was small but it was a good space if you're just trying to enjoy some ice skating. There was a lady there practicing tricks on the side. While there is a lot of people watching it isn't too bad, at least I really wasn't paying attention to any of them. It was really fun and I enjoyed my experience! There was also no wait for me I just went in waited a little over a minute, paid and got my skates. It also wasn't peak season but if your going around that time you could possibly expect the same.
