  • This is a great place. It has a really interesting display on the history of the New York fire department and cool old fire trucks. It also has a very moving memorial to the fire fighters who lost their lives on 911. We went straight after the 911 memorial and it made a great combination. This was a much quieter place for contemplation. I think it's well worth a visit - a great combination of history and cool stuff to look at.
  • I would love to say I enjoyed my time, however I didn't. The audio guided tour that's offered really doesn't tell you much. I was unable to learn about all the interesting information in the museum. I have bad vision do this is why I asked about the audio tour is. The other problem is they have a little headphones symbol with the number that you're supposed to type into the app, problem was I spent a ton of time just looking for the things. It seems very interesting just wish I could take it all in. 😞
