  • Long park with greenery and river walk, pleny of beaches to enjoy river view, dog friendly, good for running, jogging,  more »
  • I was visiting in the late afternoon in may, was a somewhat sunny whether go spicy, but directly in front of the Manhattan view stretches as great place to prospect in too. Brooklyn is one great place especially for those travelling on a bicycle after the recommendation. A lot of people and I'm a pretty big Park not as right. This night or sunset look more catchy, I guess.

  • I have clocked years of hours walking my dogs along the East River, sitting on a bench and feeding squirrels and just sight seeing. I have walked along the water for exercise and biked around the park as well. In the morning the sun rises over the East River and it's quite beautiful. The East River Park has served me well for many years. If you are fortunate to visit the park during the warm and hot months during the weekday, It is definitely less crowded. There are soccer fields, ball fields, tennis courts, a football field, basketball courts, a water sprinkler and a playground. There are several benches along the water. There are summer concerts at the amphitheatre. It's a very nice place to take pictures with the water, Brooklyn and the Williamsburg Bridge in the backdrop.
  • Know water, know life. No water, no life. Every time I make it over the overpass I know I'm doing something for my good, my lungs, my legs, my overall well being. It's also a treat to know you're not alone, there's plenty of people of all shapes and sizes getting on the healthy escape that is the East River Park. From the new track and field, to the tennis courts, to the basketball courts, you'll find something that speaks to you!
