George H. Broadhurst, the Anglo-American manager and playwright (1866-1952), built his eponymous theatre in association with the Shubert brothers. Broadhurst had previously managed theatres in Milwaukee, Baltimore, and San Francisco (and written many popular plays). The playhouse has remained one of the Shubert Organization's most consistently booked theatres.Put Broadhurst Theatre into our New York City journey maker website and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

Broadhurst Theatre Reviews
We went to see Anastasia, enjoyed the setting. The theater is 101 years old, ornate, quaint and smaller. The show was wonderful! Our seats were in the mezzanine, great view. more »
뮤지컬 외에 극장에 대해서만 평가하자면 큰 규모의 극장은 아니다. 시설은 깔끔하고 화장실 또한 괜찮은 편이다.. 약간 사이드 좌석에서 관람했는데 크게 지장은 없었다.. more »In addition to musicals, the theater is not a big theater. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice.
Anastasia was great! I finally won lottery tickets (after entering 169 times) and they were $42. The seats weren't great, but I still loved the show. The stage set was beautiful, and the train scene as well as going up the elevator in the Eiffel Tower was really amazing. They did a really good job with the screen in the back to make everything realistic. The circular rotating stages to change the set was super cool too. The songs were good and the actresses/actors were great too. I enjoyed the ballet scene too. All in all a really happy show, one that's worth seeing for sure!
The sets were brilliantly designed with a good mix of digital scenery and cool props. The cast did a wonderful job! The staff members were helpful and pleasant. My only complaint about this theater is that the seats themselves are a bit small and uncomfortable.
