  • It's a beautiful cathedral to visit. The oldest Basilica in the United States. It's a great place just to go inside and see the the interior. If your spiritual or religious it's a great place to step inside an take a moment to pray or just to have a moment to learn about the cathedral. Even if your not catholic the Cathedral from the outside makes for a great picture.
  • If you appreciate the architecture of old churches and cathedrals, you will absolutely love this place. It was on our must-see list and we were not disappointed. It is stunningly beautiful, ornate and majestic. The only down side is the offensive noise originating from the performers on the plaza just outside the front doors. The area outside the cathedral should be a noise-restricted area. Still, it is a wonderful and historic place and you're sure to enjoy your visit.
