Sequoia Grove is a family-owned winery founded in 1979 in a 110-year old barn beneath a grove of Sequoia trees in Rutherford, Napa Valley. It is here where we’ve honed our craft of creating world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and other Napa Valley wines that emphasize elegance, finesse, structure and balance. Our consistent philosophy of making wines with varietal character that are reflective of the land helped establish Sequoia Grove as one of the premier Cabernet Sauvignon producers in Napa Valley. Our 24-acre Estate Vineyard and 50-acre Tonella Ranch Vineyard are both located in the heart of Rutherford, where the superb climate and gravelly-loam soils impart distinct flavor in the Bordeaux varieties.Put Sequoia Grove Winery on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Napa trip itinerary builder site.

Sequoia Grove Winery Reviews
An unpretentious winery with a dynamite line up of red and white wines. This was our 3rd visit to Napa/Sonoma but we'd never heard of Sequoia Grove before. The staff were very personable and... more »

I would give it 6 stars if I could! The food and wine pairing is a must with chef Brittany! We have been to Sequoia Grove for a wine tasting, but the pairing is something special! Be sure to drink the wine before you start in on the plate of food and see how the wine transforms!! It’s something special! Be sure to ask for Lisa as your host! I plan to return end of February to take one of my best friend’s for her 40th birthday!
This is a charming winery, with dependably excellent wine and very friendly staff. The grounds are very pretty; it's a treat to just hang out before or after (or during) a tasting. They have good events, like a Wine & Food tasting that's a cut above the usual offering. You can even bring in your own food and have a picnic on the patio. All of their wines are good but the reds are outstanding.
