Taste the sparkling Pinot Noir at Domaine Carneros, or enjoy a cheese plate and a tour around the château. Both the château and the production area are constructed in the French style, making this a more Old World experience than you'll find at other California wineries. For some extra decadence, limousines are available for hire. Almost all of the fruit processed here comes from estate vineyards, and it’s all certified organic. Using our world travel planner, Napa attractions like Domaine Carneros can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

I go to Napa every year for a Beverage Professional Seminar and the yellow chateau of Domaine Carneros is the stop I make, even before I get to my hotel. It's on the way from the airport and it's a... more »

Wonderful winery in Napa. Had a wonderful experience trying a variety of their wines and cheese board. Experienced and super friendly staff and definitely some tasty wines. The Leblanc Leblanc was a one of my favorites from the list. This is one winery you should put on your list. Beautiful landscape and views from around the entire property. I would love to return to try more.

This place is gorgeous. As soon as you drive into the road, you are wowed with the beautiful look of a mansion overseeing a vineyard. The sparkling sample and Chateau samples were amazing. My boyfriend and I also ordered the sparkling wine cheese platter ($20) and it tasted great, but 2 people really can’t finish that with the tasting sizes. The samples are 2oz samples of extremely good wine (you know it when there’s no headache) and to become a club member you don’t pay yearly, you just buy 2-8 bottles of wine at a time. The wine bottles vary between $32-200 each. The samples were delicious and come with explanations of what they are and what they’re made of. We didn’t realize that there were different packages, but typically you expect a tour and we didn’t get that package. We paid $35 per person for the regular tasting and they sat us at a table overlooking the vineyard and our server brought us our wine samples and cheese. I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t take a tour or learn about how to make wine, but it was still a beautiful experience. The place is perfect for pictures and for a group of people. The customer service is superb. I highly recommend coming here!
