Oak Orchard Lighthouse Museum, Kent

Oak Orchard Light was a lighthouse that operated on the shores of Lake Ontario, in New York, United States, at Point Breeze from 1871 to 1916. In 2010 a local community group built a historically accurate replica of the lighthouse near the original site on the east side of Oak Orchard Creek. Originally it had been built at the end of a long wooden pier on the west side.Further reading Oleszewski, Wes.   • We were here for charter fishing on Saturday. Sunday we roamed around before we left. Lighthouse did not open until 1pm which was a bummer. Would have loved to see inside but we had a 4 hour drive...  more »
  • Stopped to the lighthouse after dinner as it looked peaceful and relaxing. Great views. The bathrooms were very clean. Just sit on the benches and take in the beautiful views of Lake Ontario. If you.....  more »
