캐나다 여행을 하면서 이타카를 들르게 되었는데 얘들은 사실 주변 관광 그런거 별로 안좋아라 하잖아요? 애들이 초등생 이하라면 들러서 한바퀴 돌면서 쉬기 딱 좋아요 more »I've been to Ithaca on a trip to Canada, but they're actually not feeling much like the sightseeing around it. If your kids are young or young er, it's a great place to stop and take a break.
The Sciencenter is fun, interactive, and has a variety of exhibits. I was very impressed because they have an axolotl salamander aka Mexican Walking Fish. My kids enjoyed the 2 hours we spent there especially the playground. This would be better with some exhibit upgrades and a snack bar.
By far the best science center I have ever been to. Took my 3 and 4 year olds and we stayed for 6.5 hours. They don't have food so make sure you pack a lunch. It's not a perfect 5 stars because they need a really good deep cleaning. They spot clean every night but there is dust in the areas that are not touched. So if you are sensitive to dust, this isn't the place for you. They just opened a new pet vet exhibit that could use some work. The batteries were dead in the scale so except for washing your pet and listening to it it's heart, there was nothing you could do in that area. Some bandages, play syringes, etc would make that area so much more fun for the kids. However, I am nitpicking. 100% worth the visit!!! Great place.
