  • Good place for the community not really worth making it a destination point. The City decided some time ago to put a freeway through a magnificent botanical garden and this little strip of river...  more »

  • If you have time and you've never been to the LBG it's worth at least a visit. Depending upon the time of year and how recently the park has been "cleaned" it can vary from "a nice retreat in the city" to "be careful where you look and where you walk". The stream running through the property is the obvious draw for everyone. If the breeze is blowing, the bugs aren't too bad, but always come prepared when you're near streams in Hawaii.
  • The tree canopy & river with waterfall is beautiful as is the grassy picnic area beautiful. However, that does not make up for the trash that found down the walking trail. Additionally, the restrooms are locked down & a small homeless village is present here. This very small park has some great bones, but it is not worth the effort to get here.
