For and outgoing staff of experienced thru-hiker volunteers. I came with my 10-yr-old son in the dead of February, and they were warm and welcoming and helped me build his enthusiasm for backpacking whenever the weather finally warms up a little this Spring. Very much enjoyed visiting the ATC!
Friendly and informative guide. Great map and fun selection of souvenirs. Don't miss the albums of hikers going back to the 70s.
