What a fantastic place to visit, and literally spend an entire day. We live close by and yet we rarely come here and I really wish that we would come here more often just so that we would be able to at least get outside and enjoy the fresh air and hike. Love the little village that shows how times change and how things used to be, the old school house, the petting zoo and farm, and all the trails and obviously the animals. Our favorite animals are the wolves and we love seeing the bald eagles. Prices are reasonable, food is able to be bought, and we enjoy the train and make sure that we ride it every time we come here. They have attractions multiple times a year depending on the season oh, fun for the whole family
Enjoyed the park immensely with 4 teenagers! We saw all of the animals and were surprised at how up close and personal the enclosures were. So much fun to watch the cougars stretch and snuggle! We loved reading the stories of the animals and even met an owl and turtle after our hike. The staff and volunteers we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. We spent several hours at the park and enjoyed every aspect of it.
