This 11.4 km (7.1 mi) trail offers hikes ranging from easy to strenuous; it attracts adventure seekers of all ages and fitness levels. The trail circles a lake created by glaciers about 12,000 years ago, and provides access to climbing routes leading to some of the tallest peaks of the Teton Range. If you don't feel like hiking back, you can board a boat for a return trip across the lake to the visitor center.   • We allocated an entire day to walking the trail - about 8 miles and a 500 ft. elevation gain. I would do it again in a minute. Besides awesome views of the lake, we were able to go to Hidden Falls.....  more »
  • OK, we cheated. We took the shuttle boat to get to the other side of the lake to shorten our hike up to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. But if you want to hike further, you can proceed along the.....  more »
