  • This is a look at grasslands where wildlife live. Although we weren't lucky enough to see any, the view of the land and mountains is beautiful.  more »
  • We passed the Elk Ranch Flats several times in 3 days and didn't spot one elk. Apparently we're either not early enough or not late enough.  more »
  • This turnout is a few miles south of the Moran Entrance Station on the road to Jackson. We past it many times during our stay in the park and several times there was a beautiful group of horses grazing, rolling on the ground, and it appeared just staring at the same view we saw. Occasionally the horse would have a half dozen birds perched on their back. Spectacular!
  • Stunning vistas of the Teton range. A former ranch on side with some cattle still there in the distance. On the opposite side, you can often bison herds and a fox/coyote or two.
