  • A very neat experience encompassing the dry heat and salt beds of DVNP. Badwater is very much a small stop with little to do besides look outward from the small boardwalk that is there from the NPS...  more »

  • I can't even start to describe how hot it was on our visit... it was 108 deg F with not even a whisper of a breeze. You can walk out onto what looks like a salt bed , small holes have been dug that fill with water so there is moisture under the surface but must be Bad Water. Well worth a visit and mo hesitation in recommending.
  • Breathtakingly beautiful with an intensity of heat like no other place! The salt flats are an extremely fragile eco system so do look after it while you're there - stick to the walkways and don't throw litter.
