  • If you are going, you should listen to the presentation and read the information on the plaques. The statues themselves are not worth the cost of the entrance fee even though they are beautiful. You aren't allowed to take in big purses or backpacks but they can lock it up for you. When they talk about watching the video, know that it is about the creation of the statues and not about how the buffalo almost became extinct. I liked it but some of the family felt it focused too much on Kevin Costner.
  • Such an informative experience to include a video from Kevin Costner, live presentation from a Lakota woman, and viewing of the bronze Tatanka. The fee of $12 is certainly reasonable. I recommend a must on the tourist circuit. Oh and gift shop has beautiful items.
