  There were no Fees. The view of Lake Champlain and the surrounding area from the gallery near the top of the lighthouse is wonderful, but you must be able to negotiate about 9 flights of stairs on a c...  more »

  Never realized that the Champlain Memorial was there until I took the time to enjoy the view from the bridge, I've mostly travelled from the south. This is a rare find. There is a camping area, public restrooms, and a generous parking area by the Memorial. The views are worth stopping for, but I believe there may be a park fee. The gate to the area was open but the gatehouse was not staffed. Thank you State of New York.
