  The Monastery has a rich history. The grounds are very peaceful. The buildings are incredibly interesting. Make sure to go to the Abbey Church and experience one of the services. I was there for the 12:15 PM midday prayer. It was wonderful. There are Rose of Sharon and Trumpet Vines in bloom by the Abbey. Don’t forget to visit the bonsai garden. The Monastery of the Holy Spirit is part of the Arabia Mountain National Heritage area and it’s conveniently connected to the PATH hiking/biking trails. There’s a parking area immediately to the right as you enter and you can start your PATH journey there.
