Pei, the building rises above the shores of Lake Erie, featuring a mix of geometric forms and cantilevered spaces, with a 49 m (160 ft) tower supporting a triangular structure often described as a glass tent. • Very interesting multi-tiered building. I went during their special wardrobe event, though I wasn't completely sure what stuff was added or if everything lived in the exhibit as is and they just made an event around that aspect in particular (it was a discounted event and they had a game to be a part of where you could win swag). I do wish they included more photos of the performers in the wardrobe on display and perhaps more interactive bits, but overall it's a very clean and well-run museum. I loved the Theatre viewing portions, they were very well done.
  • Quite interesting, any rock music fan should make their way here at least once in their lifetime. 80% of the exhibits are on the first floor (or Floor 0, in their parlance,) but some of the remaining floors still had interesting memorabilia. We made it through in about 4 hours at a leisurely pace, so don't plan on staying all day unless you really like reading a lot. Also, the souvenirs are seriously overpriced, really, $32 for a T-shirt worth $15 on a good day anywhere else? Sorry.
