Skydeck Chicago - Willis Tower, Chicago
Take a look at Chicago from the top of Skydeck Chicago - Willis Tower, the second tallest building in the country. Still called "Sears Tower" by most locals, the 108-story building looms over the city with a height of 442 m (1,451 ft). One of the world's tallest freestanding structures, the skyscraper features an observation deck on the 103rd floor. The popular skydeck is 412 m (1,353 ft) high, offering unobstructed views of Chicago and its sprawling suburbs. Glass balconies are a great photo opportunity, just notice that you do not touch the one with the floor stained and can not see anything to low, remember that you take the time to take photos so you have thought the poses and hurry or you will have to return to row
What an awesome experience. Breathtaking views and a ton of history of the building to read through. We went on a weekday and there were no lines or long waits. I like that you could walk around at your own pace. A once in a lifetime experience.
If you are visiting Chicago, this is a must-see attraction. It offers awesome views of the great city of Chicago. Plan ahead for your visit. The lines are usually long and the wait times can range from 3-4 hours during summer days. The general admission is $24 and the fast-pass tickets are $49/person. $49 is a lot but is well worth it. If you are visiting Chicago, I'd certainly recommend the City pass that includes fast-pass($106/person at the time of writing) which covers 5 great locations all worth visiting (1. Skydeck Chicago - FAST PASS 2. Shedd Aquarium - PRIORITY ENTRY 3. The Field Museum - VIP ENTRY 4. Museum of Science and Industry OR 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck - EXPRESS ENTRY 5. Adler Planetarium - VIP ENTRY OR Art Institute of Chicago - FAST PASS) The elevator ride up to 103rd floor is real awesome. Staff are very helpful. To get on the ledge, it is always crowded and some people spend way too much time on it and don't consider people behind them. The restrooms are clean and well maintained.
