Museum of Science and Industry Reviews
I think this is a good museum overall. We spent 3-4 hours here. Some parts of the museum were boring and underwhelming, with not a lot to do. But I think some of the exhibits make up for that, mainly ... more »
We had heard the U boat exhibit was very good and it was. Lots of fun facts to be gathered: U-505 was the first man-of-war captured since 1812, it can take a chick up to 10 hours to peck its way out f... more »
I went here as a kid and remember it being awesome. This time we didn't even but tickets, they are crazy expensive and they want 20 bucks to park in the garage on top. The basic museum cost is pricey and if you want to do anything extra there it cost more, like the submarine, it cost extra. The only way it's cost effective is if you are a member and go more than once, but that doesn't work when you are just visiting for the day.
This museum was a real treat. They had many interesting exhibits. It was fun to see some things that were in the museum when I was a kid next to the new stuff. I really appreciate how they are always working to bring something new into the museum. You can easily spend an entire day here. I highly recommend this place for people with kids. It isn't as interactive as a children's museum, but it isn't as hands-off as many other museums we've been to. They have a good mix to keep kids engaged. We will definitely visit again.
