  • Bombay beach is on the shore of the Salton Sea...the largest lake in CA...but not for long...it is receding quickly. The town is mostly a ghost town but there are still a few people living there. There is a convenient store and maybe a small restaurant. Pretty crazy place to stop for a bit and take pics.
  • some people said it’s not worth to come, for me, I would say I love this place so much! Summer between 2-4pm weather and water is really hot. Be aware the water is toxic( according to Wikipedia) and full of chemicals. No much people here; you can enjoy yourself and find your peace. Stay here I can tell it used to be a fancy/ popular place, but it looks like abandoned today.
