Bellevue Botanical Garden Reviews
Gorgeous garden, great afternoon outing. We really enjoyed our visit and were pleasantly surprised to find the admission was free. more »
I visited on July 19, a cloudy morning with occasional breakthroughs of sun. The gardens were beautiful, and when the sun came out, they were spectacular. I had never seen such large hydrangea blossom... more »
Bellevue Botanical Gardens is a gem in the middle of Bellevue! We stumbled here passing by accident and spent about 2.5 hours just wondering around the various gardens. As someone deeply invested in plants and beautiful gardens, I have to say I was very impressed with the variety of plants and flowers and how each were strategically placed in the right spot and selected garden. Everything from water saving rock gardens, to the spring courtyard- you will leave inspired with ideas to customize your own garden strolling throughout this place. I especially appreciated the variety of trees, especially the beautiful and unique variegated ones. We always love the blooming flowers, but no one really focuses on plants and trees like they do. While they do have a gift shop and some plants for sale, prices are a little high for what they do have compared to stores- BUT, it's free access and so I do appreciate that and don't mind spending a little more to support the team keeping this place up. The lost meadow trail does wrap around the backside of the location, so there are joggers and non-garden folks passing through as well. For that reason it can get a little busy. There's also a lot of parking.
One of the most beautiful place to go at free of cost. In some season it looks full bright and beautiful. In winter it looks bald and naked. Always a good place to stroll and passing time.
