Fantasmic!, Anaheim

4.6
Ride / Activity · Fun & Games
Featuring live actors, music, water effects, and pyrotechnics, Fantasmic! presents a battle between good and evil. In a dramatic setting, Disney characters appear on an island, on boats, rafts, and in the water. You'll watch 50 actors perform, witness a 14 m (45 ft) fire-breathing dragon light the river on fire, and be rewarded with a fireworks spectacular at the end. Make sure you arrive early (up to an hour before show time) to get your seats, as the show gets very crowded. Small children may be frightened or upset by this loud and intense show. • Well worth the money, get there early to get a good seat or you will be standing. The kids really enjoyed it and I think the adults may have enjoyed it more.  more »

  • This was a really fun show, I just didn’t get to see much of it. There were a lot of people in front of me and I had a hard time seeing the performance. I loved Malefescent in her dragon form and the pirate ship battle was cool. I wasn’t expecting to see a real boat float out of the fog.
  • Classic show at Disneyland but it has been revamped with cool new effects and new scenes as of 2017. Definitely worth making time for, but it can be a little scary for young children as the show has loud pyrotechnic effects and a rather dark theme with characters and show elements that may frighten young children. It's pretty easy to get standby seating, come an hour before the show starts. Plenty of standby viewing area in front of Haunted Mansion. This show also has reserved viewing areas through Fastpass, but they usually run out fairly early in the morning. Distribution machines are the carts out in front of the Mark Twain Riverboat dock. The second showing (if there is one) is much easier to get spots for, if you don't mind staying late.
