Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden is a historic walled garden in Grappenhall, Warrington, Cheshire, England. The garden was built by Thomas Parr around 1830 as both a pleasure garden for relaxing strolls and as a kitchen garden to produce fruit, vegetables, and herbs. After a period of decline, the garden was restored first by English Partnerships and then by the local parish council in conjunction with the friends of the garden.

  • My partner and I used to come here every Sunday whilst they were raising money for charity. They had fresh veg, a cafe with excellent prices, and our dogs enjoyed the walk up. Unfortunately the past few times we've been, either the garden itself has been closed, or the cafe has. We're never sure what times the cafe is open anymore and the prices have more than tripled from the days we used to go. We'd be interested to know when the official opening times for the cafe are, as we've not been able to visit since it's changed.
  • Can't believe I've lived in Warrington for 30 years and never knew it existed, beautiful place for a walk. The cafe is great if a little slow, although they do warn you of that so no complaints from me.
