Just love this place. Wow and it’s even more impressive as it’s my first visit in over 20 years having been out of the UK for a long time. What a spectacular and appropriate production to return to - Taming of the Shrew. My favourite version so far and to be honest, the speeches made even more sense and brought new meaning and in places new lessons in respect. Beautiful production, stunning costumes, loved the music, great cast, unique direction - I can not praise it highly enough. Staff also fabulous and the running of the venue is spot on like a well oiled machine. Can’t wait to return - I won’t be leaving it so long. This kind of cultural experience is one of the things I missed about living out of the UK.
A world renowned theatre that welcomes people from all walks of life. Every performance is to a very high standard and ticket prices are competitive when compared to other theatres. There are numerous things to amuse the visitor, tours of the building, exhibits, cafe, shop, always a pleasure to spend time there.
