  • Lovely day out with the family. A lot to do at a nice pace. The home and rooms were well kept and enjoyable to view. The grounds were beautiful and we went on a leisurely walk that took about two hours. We had a lovely picnic and ice cream. Was a relatively inexpensive day as we had free membership passes, brought our own picnic. The team room was nice and the staff pleasant.
  • This national trust house/park is great for a wide range of different activities from picnicking in the park, seeing the wildlife or taking in the picturesque views; visitors can also visit the historic house and it's excellent art/sculpture collection. Tours also are often run to give expert insight into the property's background and its various owners. Facilities include various cafes, toilets and shops, the property is also in easy walkable distance to the village of Petworth as well.
