  • Remarkable history here but most of the buildings weren't accessible, some looked to be used as offices. The garage with vintage car & ambulance was unkempt & could use a good cleaning. They appear to...  more »

  • It's amazing. If you haven't been already you really need to go. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The exhibits are well thought out and interesting to see. The huts are very atmospheric, the house and grounds are beautiful and I'm not going to say any more because I don't want to spoil it for you! There's ample parking and the cafes serve good food at reasonable prices. The tickets are a good price and best of all you can revisit as many times as you like for the next year on the same ticket! Make sure you get there early though. You'll need a whole day to really see everything!
  • An excellent visit, full of history and interesting facts about the people that did such a great service to their country and the world. The size of the effort and depth of research put into place make this place worth a couple of visits, with so many rooms and interactive stations you'll easily spend 5 or more hours in your visit, but because your ticket is valid for unlimited visits for a year you can do it in multiple ones too. By the way, the coffee is good.
  • Really impressed . Wasn't sure what to expect but it's beautifully done with so many interesting things to see and hear. The guide we had was amazing so passionate and the info he was sharing was so interesting, the little touches such as the sound of the motor bike or the fighter plane coming over as you walked around helped add atmosphere. The bombe machine was amazing when it was turned on you could imagine how anxious and excited they would have been to see what answers they got out. The grounds are beautiful the exhibits brilliant and the food v tasty and good value. The staff were so lovely they all bought their game faces to work and that was nice. The ticket lasts a year and I shall certainly be coming back with my family. Want a inspiring day out then go to Bletchley Park .
  • Unfortunately its with a heavy heart that i write this review. Me, my partner and a group of friends visited Blechley Park on our way back home. At first i was a little shocked at the initial price of commission, however after understanding that this helps to maintain the park and also provides an annual pass i understood why. I would like to state that i love history and I am fully aware that the actions of the brave people who worked there is the reason i am here today and not fluent German. My review is completely down to the service i experienced here on my trip in the hope that it will improve for others that will visit in future. After receiving our portable audio travel guide ( great feature by the way) myself and my partner ventured forth around the park. Many of the young staff looked as exited to be there as my 7 year old daughter did, who soon became restless. Dragging my daughter around whilst explaining the importance of these buildings to her was a draining task and it wasn't long before we both pestered my partner for something to eat. We went to the cafe located around the side of the Mansion and there was flies everywhere, I nearly bought a piece of cake before realizing that the flies where having a party on-top of a lemon slice. Nothing was really being done to control this and it took quite a while to be served, as there was something clearly more interesting to talk about as far as the staff was concerned. Overall the grounds looked amazing and i thoroughly enjoyed the live band that played but as far as my annual pass is concerned it will be collecting some dust until it is void. : (
  • It's a cool to visit, and great to to learn more about the efforts that went into the work there. It was great to see a working replica of the machine Turing built and to use some of the replica machines. We also met some people who worked on the building the replicas who were super enthusiastic about showing us how things worked. My two issues were, the price - it seemed very expensive to get in, and the cafe staff - they seemed to hate their jobs.

Where to stay in Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes is growing quickly. The city's modern architectural features are built around the town's green spaces, and the center of town offers hotels and apartment rentals near attractions and transportation.
