Big Rock Hub, Milton Keynes

It’s great fun for kids and the perfect antidote to boring gym regimes for adults! Humans have been climbing trees to escape from wolves and other scary stuff for thousands of years so don’t let modern life supress your natural instinct to climb!

Conquer our high roped walls for an unbeatable sense of achievement, experience the freedom of climbing without using a rope in our low level bouldering areas or try something that's entirely off-the-wall: CrazyClimb featuring a series of wacky climbing challenges!

The aim is to ascend a climb using only the designated coloured holds: think of it as join the dots but much more interesting! Choosing the correct sequence of coloured holds and reaching the top provides an unbeatable feeling and a really fun workout.

No previous experience is required and anyone can have a go. Spectators can gain entry for free and can get involved in the action from the seating overlooking the climbing areas. If you need to refuel, our café is a great place to hang out offering a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and meals served throughout the day. Free WiFi is even available throughout the centre!

  • It was a great time. Myself, my wife and our 15 year old son went for an hour and a half climbing. We were instructed by a chap who was very knowledgeable and jolly decent. Well worth the time and money. I very much liked that the music played was low in volume and tempo. It was not loud or aggressive music. It made a big and positive difference. All round we had a great and valuable time.
  • Booked on for the family climb. Great fun had particularly for my boy who’d been asking to go climbing for months. Our instructor was lovely, instantly put us at ease and was great at encouraging us. 90mins flew by! Nice to meet other families too. Would recommend a visit! We’ll certainly be going back soon.
