  • Nipped in to avoid the rain and was most impressed with the variety of artworks on view. The galleries are laid out in an interesting format. Would recommend this to visit when in Manchester.  more »
  • Loved the Pre-Raphaelite and Lowry. A safe and quiet place to pass a few hours. Caffe was very popular. Nice shop!  more »

  • Very interesting art gallery. Good permanent + temp exhibitions. The shop is also good for cards etc if you want to get something a bit more unique. Cafe good too
  • The cafe alone is worth your visit, an oasis of calm in the city with an extensive and somewhat exotic collection of cakes, and a lovely menu of light meals and sandwiches. The quality of the ingredients from the jam to fine and fragrant tea was evident in my cream tea. Service is also efficient and welcoming.
