  • Found this place at last open. Went last under restoration wraps. Very reasonably priced tickets to get in. Restoration to this beautifully light enhanced house is superb. Do visit the conservatory which is an added addition. You have to see it from inside looking out to get it! The conservatory is based on the original plans of the architect who never got the chance to build it. The exquisite hand painted wallpaper in the dining room and long view windows create a vista to the outside grounds. The room is light and airy, the painted ceiling has very modern pale mute colours. This is a house l would want to live in. You think grey is the in colour at the moment - it's there too. The marbled painting and wood effect has been skillfully done. Staff are enthusiastic about this recent renovation. Go along and see what you think and don't to get a tour.
