Buckingham Palace serves as a splendid reminder of the monarch's continued importance in British culture. If you visit during August or September, you'll have the opportunity to tour the palace's opulent staterooms. The queen receives and entertains guests and conducts special ceremonies in these spaces. Many of the furnishings date back to the 1830s, when King George IV transformed Buckingham House into a palace. On your tour, you'll learn how the monarch uses each of the 19 staterooms, hear colorful history relating to these spaces, and see numerous works in the British royals' art collection. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, because the tour lasts from 2-2.5 hours and stretches out over 0.8 km (0.5 miles). Photography is not permitted inside. If you visit outside of August and September, you can still watch the changing of the guard outside the palace. These places are full of history. Very old buildings but still looks new and shiny. You visit any time this place is full of rush so that's why we went in evening around 11 12 pm. You can feel that how the queen live here and how close you are that time. Very maintained buildings and the surroundings. This is the main attraction also.

A majestic sight. Centuries of history in front of you. It’s worth taking the guard change tour to get the full experience. The surrounding gardens and square are stunning. The summer Buckingham Palace tour was amazing. I love the history of the palace and seeing all the gorgeous rooms. It was amazing to see the inside of the palace. Definitely book very early the tickets sell out very quickly. The gift shop in the front and back have some nice stuff! Highly recommend this if you are going to be in the London area in the Summer. Its just breathtaking and beautiful! There are so many things that i can write about, but nothing can compared with a visit. Its ideal to spend one day of your life to experience and admire the glory of this world heritage monument!
