The Falls of Glomach, in Ross-shire, Scotland, is one of the highest waterfalls in Britain, at 113 m (370 ft).
The falls border Kintail, donated to the National Trust for Scotland in 1944 and subsequently incorporating West Affric in 1993. It is not easily reached on foot, requiring an 8 kilometre trek through remote and wild countryside.

  • We parked at the entrance to the Killilan estate and walked to the falls and back. Easy walking until the last mile or so but it is a long way! Well worth it though, the falls are beautiful and we saw...  more »

  • Beautiful walk through the highlands. No walk in the park... bring your hiking shoes, water and food, because for untrained folks this can be a pretty rough one. It's about 9km one way and a 500m altitude difference. Saw some wild deer on the way and the waterfall itself is stunning.
  • Fantastic walk ending at the falls, beware of changing weather!
