Duncansby Head (Scottish Gaelic: Ceann Dhunngain or Dùn Gasbaith) is the most northeasterly part of the British mainland, including even the famous John o' Groats. It is located in Caithness, Highland, in north-eastern Scotland. The headland juts into the North Sea, with the Pentland Firth to its north and west and the Moray Firth to its south.

  • Duncansby stacks are amazing and well worth a short drive off the main road plus about a 10 minute walk. worth it though. amazing views of the stacks and some very good wildlife to be seen also. I...  more »
  • From the carpark it is a 10 minute walk to the first and I think most used view point. You will get great pictures from that point but we kept walking all the way up to where the fence ends. You can.....  more »
  • Fantastic views around. The lighthouse is not accessible. There is a huge fens around and everything locked. Website says that there is a gift shop, but I could not find it. Very disappointed.
  • Impressive views over the north eastern most point of Scotland and the two spires are just awe inspiring. Definitely take the time to walk to the end, it's worth it!
