  • So very old and deep in history. Lovely window. Very knowledgeable volunteer in the Museum which must also be visited.
  • Nice surprise. Stunning architecture, historic church. Fine gothic window, display of medieval carved stone from the Abbey on the Cloister Gallery, fabulous Chapels with Knight effigies. Beautiful and peacesul space. Worth a visit to 'The Museum' (open April to September) - it's the old schoolroom with maps, artifacts reflecting the history of Dorchester. The state was film location of Midsummer Murders. Free to enter, contribution only.
