  • This whole site is a work of art. The only caveat would be;- don't plan to spend more than a about two and a half hours here, as the place is not that large. Also, avoid rush hour on the M25 there and ...  more »

  • Remember being taken here as a child, now I'm taking my child here 30 years on. Great fascinating place, a few rides and a playground for the kids if the small people can capture their attention for the entire time. Train ride was whilst short good trip around grounds. Really liked the history room. It's a good half day, day out. Will return again next year.
  • What a wonderful day out we have had here! The weather of bright sunshine helped but the look on my granddaughters face when we entered the model village was one of excitement and pure delight. There really is something for all ages it is just perfection down to the smallest detail. Pure nostalgia for us older ones and something the smallest child can tower over making every detail visible. We had a good lunch in the Tea room, followed by some locally produced ice-cream. All in all a very good value day out.
  • Fun day, great variety of models with many interactive. The train ride was more fun than expected for £1!! Food and drinks reasonably priced. Slow wall around lasted about 90 minutes. Entrance fee not the cheapest though, hence 4 stars. Good day out though and would recommend
  • What a fantastic Model Village & Railway! All look like real but small version 😊. We spend around 2.30 hrs here, if allowed we can easily spend ½ or full day here. Well planned and managed network rail through village (its model!). Full-on entertainment for little one. Nice play area after village visit for little one. Parking is very near to village and after 3.30pm concession in entry fee.
  • Such a sweet place and brings back lots of childhood memories. The detail and upkeep of the model village is first class and three playground and picnic area are lovely. Not a full days visit but well worth it. Highly recommend.
