Wander the multitude of shops, feast your eyes on the colorful array of offerings, and haggle for traditional Turkish goods at Kapali Carsi, one of the world's oldest and largest covered markets. This bazaar, home to over 4,000 artisan shops, is essentially a maze of sheltered streets featuring Turkish carpets, ceramics, lamps, scarves, jewelry, and more. Located in the "Walled City," the site dates back to the 15th century. Today crowds from cruise ships swarm the bazaar in the summertime and visitors to the city spend hours bargaining with merchants. Enjoy the enthusiastic vendors, who will typically offer you Turkish coffee or tea while you peruse their goods. Great place to spend time and buy souvenirs. one can find all kinds of Turkish cultural items ranging from spices, sweets to jewelry and furniture. Be ready to bargain as the prices are generally hiked up. The sellers are sweet and nice, at least they pretend for the business. The lamp stores are beautiful but are not allowed to take pictures, maybe due to the social media enthusiasts. Finally a nice place to spend a couple of hours and get cheap and good looking souvenirs.

What a beautiful place, you can literally spend weeks in this Bazaar and I don't think you will get enough of it. You can find anything I mean literally anything, you name it you will find it. There are bunch of places to rest as well, shop around and then have a beautiful Turkish coffee or tea and continue shopping. If you are visiting Istanbul you gotta see this place, otherwise you haven't seen Istanbul. Heaven.
