Мы посещали музей самостоятельно, но на входе взяли гида, который ближе познакомил нас музеем и культурой. Гид нужен. Так интереснее. The guide is needed. So interesting. But our guide was so-so, but overall understanding we have left)

However, unlike other places, there is an entrance fee-45 lira per person (02.05.2019) There is also an opportunity to take some photos, however, there are usually a lot of tourists here, and there is a chance that one of them will be with you in the frame))
The open air museum was nice to visit however the sites inside seem redundant after a few. The apple cave had very impressively preserved paintings which was very cool to see. Otherwise there was not much that wowed me inside. If you're in the area and have the time it is probably worth visiting this museum.
Fascinating natural beauty along with history. It is a UNESCO accepted open air museum since 1985. Many churches, temples, kitchens are open for visiting. Some are closed due to restorations. The cafe is nice to try Turkish coffee inside the museum.
