Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul, Tunis

4.1
Opened in 1897 on the site of an 17th century Christian church, Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul represents a colonial era Roman Catholic cathedral and an iconic building of the Tunisian capital. The custard-colored structure with white edges has a triple arch entrance topped by a shimmering portal mosaic, a large Latin cross, and tall twin bell towers. Blending neo-Gothic, neo-Byzantine, and Moorish revival styles, the cathedral holds regular masses in French and Italian. The building is an active seat of the Archdiocese of Tunis.
