  • This site is a little hard to find but it is worth it. In addition, a very well preserved arch (reconstituted during the French colonial period?), a well preserved Nympheus, interesting baths by their mosaic paving (we are on the land where for centuries were produced the most beautiful mosaics of the Roman Empire or the most numerous in any case), the remains of stalls, a Byzantine fort, a temple, a street lined with houses and the network of sewers still present in a Roman city. In short, a visit that is worth visiting especially if you have documented in advance because on the spot, surprise, there is no ticket to pay or guide. But, important point, this loneliness does not produce a sense of insecurity, just the sensation of being a traveler from 100 years ago or more!
