Kasbah of Hammamet represents a good viewing point from which you can observe the Mediterranean Sea and the neighborhood immediately below this area. Walk around to lean about the history of this casbah, which once contained a legion of European soldiers. The homes just outside the old fort's walls belonged mostly to wealthy foreigners, who surrounded their residences with neat gardens. The area remains one of the best places to visit if you wish to pick up some authentic Tunisian foods and spices. • A good place for history lovers.
  • A kind of basic fortress. You have to pay a fee(8 dinars,if I remember well) to visit it.But,what a surprise, there's (almost) nothing to see inside.Anyway, you won't regret your money because after you climb to the stone walls you'll have some wonderful views of the town
